My experience with Animal Crossing goes back to the Gamecube version. I lived with 3 other people - we were all hopelessly addicted to Animal Crossing. I remember coming home one day to find that one of the flatmates had cut down half the trees in the town. After a heated argument the Gamecube was moved into my room.
Animal Crossing is the most addictive game I have ever played, it consumes your life for months and months and then one day you stop, realise how silly the game is and you never play it again... Although I have been thinking about picking up the DS version lately...

I love your paper version of Animal Crossing!! I was terribly addicted for several months, and now, I have no desire to play, at all. I bought the DS version, and don't like it as much as I do the Wii version. I too chopped down half the trees in my town, to better organize my fruit selection! ha. LAME!!
