Matt Hawkins was kind enough to let me know about his new site; custompapertoys.com He has some absolutely magnificent papercrafts to download there, it's a pretty simple premise, a new designer paper toy every month. Scary Rabbit Paper Model

Rabbits aren't meant to be scary, they are cute, their ears flop around and they are fluffy and eat carrots. Right? Wrong. Everything you assumed about rabbits will be crushed by this papercraft. Look into his eyes, he is a rabbit possessed.

Ok maybe im going a bit overboard here, there are cute rabbits as well on this page, but scary rabbit is my favorite by far.

Papercraft Skeleton

This is a really nice skeleton paper model in my opinion, who would have thought that a skeleton could be described as cute? This one is : ) I have not made it yet due to... well life getting in the way of my papercrafting! But it appears you can attach string to the skeletons arms and legs and use him as a marionette. Pretty cool.

The standout paper model has to be the Akira bike though, I have been a big fan of the Akira movie and Manga (when I can get my hands on it) for years. Tardis Papercraft

Since I was a kid, the idea of Doctor Who's Tardis has fascinated me. The inside of the damn thing is huge! Plus it's a time machine that looks like a British Police Box. Weird. What does Tardis stand for I hear you ask, well it is an ancroymn for: Time And Relative Dimension In Space. Fantastic. Why not build your own time machine papercraft?

ICO Papercraft

IGN is kind enough to host a lovely little papercraft for this interesting Playstation 2 game (watch the trailer above), I really enjoyed the brief time I played it at a friends and I still haven't managed to get my greedy little hands on it's spiritual successor Shadow of the Colossus, which looks magnificent : ) there's nothing I like more than a game that breaks pre-defined gameplay rules. Yay expermentation in a stale industry!

These have been around for a while courtesy of Ninjatoes, but they somehow slipped through the cracks here at Papercraft World. I recently purchased Advance Wars for the Nintendo DS and my memory was jogged. Awesome game, awesome papercraft, although the papercraft's were easier to complete than the game!

iPhone Papercraft

Unless you've been living in a cave without the internet for the past couple of days, chances are you have heard about apples latest wonderful gadget the iPhone. I don't normally get excited about new technology unless I can play video games on it but this one has got me pretty amped, it's just so damn shiny!

Love or loathe the thing, it was only a matter of time (record breaking time in fact)before a paper model of the iPhone surfaced. So here it is, one straight from Gizmodo and another from Sneakmove. Cut it out, glue it up and wait for the real thing. Super-Duper!

Papercraft Reindeer Christmas Decoration

The tree is looking super with the various paper ornaments I have found, so now I just need to build a few decorations to litter around the house. What could be more Christmasy (is that a real word?) than reindeer? Absolutely nothing in my opinion, so I've dug up an automated, animated reindeer that is warming up for the Christmas night run with Santa. He's so cute I feel sick.

More Excellent Japanese Paper Craft

I found these a long time ago and lost the bookmark, so it was with great delight that I stumbled across them again, nice big paper models of various characters (as usual I have no idea what they are from) they all seem to be holding utensils? I've been out looking at Christmas decorations and was utterly disturbed by the cost of the sparkly tree ornaments, as I left the store, not really feeling the christmas spirit, it came to me in a flash: paper christmas ornaments! Steambot Chronicles Papercraft

I've been catching up on a few games from this year that have been on my must play list and the one that has really taken me by surprise is quirky little rpg called Steambot Chronicles (or Bumpy Trot in Japan, they should have kept that name!). Billed as a 'sandbox' game, it's a mech game, it's a dating sim, you get to join a band and play musical instruments, there's a very good 9-ball mini game, there is a lot of things to do and they are all done really nicely. At this point (i'm about 8 hours in) I'm picking it as my game of the year!

You can imagine my delight when I was looking over the official site and low and behold they have papercraft! Click on the downloads page and make your very own trotmobile!

Brett Simons who was suffering from a midlife crisis came up with a simple and in my opinion wonderful solution to justifying his existence. This is a nice find here folks, a moving animated papercraft to hold high and be proud of, two faces, two um, stomachs, giant hands, a papercraft of perfection. Cut Cut Cut Van

John Lacko a fantastic illustrator (you can check out his site here) has pointed out a great papercraft project that has the power to make the world a better place. It's pretty easy really, grab a cut cut cut papercraft van from this site, use your favorite graphics software to create a design, or better yet grab some pens, step away from the computer and get the creative juices flowing :) take a photo and send it to the cut cut cut lads, what could be easier? Space Ship Paper Model

Boy they sure knew how to do space back in the seventies, Star Wars, 2001 Space Odessy, Buck Rogers (or was that the eighties?) Anyway they loved them some space back then with a passion, including a short lived show by the name of Salvage 1, running for 16 episodes starting in 1979. The show even had Isaac Asimov as a scientific advisor! Awesome.

Robots!

All I seem to post these days is Robot papercraft, but it's hard not to when you find stuff like this. I particulary like the cyclops with drills for arms : ) from a game I have never heard of but would like to play. robots+gamecube=win.
