AirWolf Paper Model
Ah the eighties, everyone had a cool vehicle in the eighties – Magnum PI had his Ferrari, the A-Team had their van, Knight Rider had Kitt, Bj and the Bear had their mack truck, even Macgyver had his house boat. But probably the coolest TV vehicle to come out of that crazy decade would have had to been Airwolf - I mean it's a freaking supersonic military helicopter.
Show that you are a true child of the eighties with a fantastic Airwolf Papercraft.
Great idea... advanced origami (I take it?) to make an Airwolf helicopter. I'll have a go at that. I heard the soundtrack for the series, Airwolf Themes has just been released for digital downloads whilst we're in retro mode here. The official website for it is at http://www.airwolfthemes.com/ so I'll be having that theme tune playing in the background while I have a go at making the model. Ahhhh, as you say, the 80s.
Oh, meant to say, you've shown a YouTube link to the terrible (and much hated by the majority of fans) spin-off, low-budget Canadian 4th Season of the show instead of the original CBS series starring Jan-Michael Vincent and Ernie Borgnine. A better, more relevant link would be: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBB8C3N9vBg Might be worthwhile updating it. :)
Sorry, don't mean to be an Airwolf geek today but on a roll here... any chance someone could come up with the 'HX1' chopper to go with the other model...
This is one of the top five episode fan-favorite aerial battle sequences here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CT-fWEcXamc
Thanks Surgefilter - Sadly that version is not allowed to be embedded within the site :( Ive found another that *says* Season 1 - it kicks arse either way :)

ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with being an Airwolf geek! I'll keep my eyes out for the model of the HX1 Chopper.
